June R. Thomas

June R. Thomas of Riverview and Grosse Ile was born on July 11, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan and died on April 3, 2016 at Applewood Nursing Center in Woodhaven, Michigan at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Victor. Loving mom of Randy (Sharon). Cherished grandma of Nicholas and Hannah. Dearest sister of Karen (Stephen) Klanseck. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Fernand and Rosanna (nee: Dochot) Lerminiaux. June was a graduate of Denby High School. In addition to being a homemaker she worked as a seamstress for J.L. Hudson Department Store, as a diamond cutter during World War II, at Kroger's Grocery Store and as a sales associate at American Greetings. June was an avid reader who enjoyed traveling, knitting, crocheting and doing crafts. Memorial contributions to honor her memory may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
