Judith “Judy” Ann Colón, of Oneida Nation, passed away on February 10, 2023 at the age of 71. Judy was the daughter of Juanita (Powless) and Leland Cornelius.

Judy’s greatest joys in life were her family and friends. There was nothing she loved more than being a grandma, with her first introduction being how many kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids she had. She built her beloved family with Damian, her husband of nearly 54 years.

She was sassy, feisty, and could carry a conversation with anyone. Judy loved to visit with others and thought every picture posted on Facebook was a photo sent directly to her so she could share your life moments with you. They made her so happy to see how much so and so has grown or gotten married or became a parent. Judy also loved “rummaging”, crocheting blankets, and a trip to the casino. She loved listening to oldies and country music and had a sweet tooth like no other.

Judy is survived by: her husband Damian; her children David (Kim) Colón, Joseph (Jennifer) Colón, Sandra (José) Sanchez, Renee (Sam) Mousa, and Damian Colón, Jr; her grandchildren Samantha (Nathan) Bird, Kristen Sanchez, Alysia Sanchez, Michael Bogumil, Victoria (Josh) Stocking, Kayla Thompson, Nadia (James) Spivey, Dani Sanchez, Yasmine Mousa, Jordan Mousa, José Sanchez, Jr., Leighla Mousa, and LilyAnn Q Colón; her great-grandchildren Oakley, Evie, Parker, Jack, Jude, Aidan, Stevie, and Michael Damian; and 9 brothers and sisters. She also leaves behind many other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
