Gatesy, William, Jr. age 55, Dawn age 53 and William, III age 28. February 18, 2013 all of Allen Park. William and Dawn are survived by their loving daughters Nicole (Jason) Montminy and Jennifer (Dean) Fenner and were the proud grandparents of Chase and Addison Montminy. William, III is survived by his 2 sisters Nicole (Jason) Montminy and Jennifer (Dean) Fenner, his nephew Chase, niece Addison and his partner of 4 years and 2 months Shaun Crawford. William and Dawn were married 34 years and together are survived by their best friends Tom and Diane Lazuka. William is also survived by his brother Gary (Jennifer) Gatesy. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Geraldine Gatesy. He was retired from the City of Allen Park where he worked for the Department of Public Service. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and Hockey. Dawn is the dearest sister of Kim (Tim) Millner, Kevin (Kathy) Szuch, Curt Szuch, Ted Szuch, Fred Szuch, Mark (Ladell) Szuch and Cheryl (Rick) Birr. She was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Iris (nee: Heath) Szuch and 1 brother Chris Szuch. She was a paraprofessional for the Wyandotte Public School System. She loved spending time with her family and friends as well as helping special needs children and being outdoors. William, III had missed his cat Tigger and in addition to his family will be missed by his dog Chloe. William, III loved working for and playing Bingo, loved Michigan State, enjoyed decorating for the Holidays especially Christmas and was exuberant about having a good time. All of them are survived by a host of other family including nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles other loving family and a multitude of friends. Memorial contributions to honor their memory may be made to to the family.
