Joyce Caroline Diakow

Joyce Caroline Diakow, age 90 of Lincoln Park, passed away peacefully at her home August 30th, 2017. Loving wife of 70 years to Leo. Dear mother of Jerry "Butch" (Pat), Linda (Mike) Fenech, and Jill (Charlie) McCalister. Proud grandmother of Sally (Don), Cathy (Bill), Joyce (David), Michele (Mark), Michael (Fran), Brian (Crysta), Brad (Julie), and Amy. Great grandmother of D.J., Jerry (Emily), Justin, Billy, Cooper, Brooke, Paige, Kaleah, Caiden, Brenna, Braelyn, Bailey, Emma, Carter, and Mason. Joyce is also survived by her brother in law Nicky, sister in law Gerri, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Friday from 3-9pm, Vigil Service 6:30pm, at the Allen Park Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. On Saturday the family will receive friends from 9:30am until 10am Mass, at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1540 Riverbank, Lincoln Park. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or the Disabled American Veterans.
