Joy O. Grogg

Joy was born on April 13, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan and died on December 6, 2018 at her home at the age of 81; she was of Southgate and formerly of Westland. Beloved mom of Laurie Grogg (Mike Mahaney), Debra Cochran and of the late Donald Grogg, Jr. Proud grandma of Crystal Cochran, Natalie Weatherholt, Amanda Grogg and Chad Mahaney and great grandma of Devon, Alyssa, Kira, Mealinn, Megan and Nathan. Loving sister of James (Kathy) Young. Dearest aunt of Cheri, Jennifer, Dan and Jim. Preceded in death by her parents James Madison and Nellie Agnes (nee: Byers) Young and her sister Dolores (John) Wise. She will be missed by her dog Storm. Joy was the former owner of Eve's Poodle Salon in Lincoln Park which was a family owned business. Memorial contributions may be made as the donor chooses.
