Joy L. Burch

Joy was born on October 22, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan and died on September 5, 2020 at Applewood Nursing Center in Woodhaven, Michigan at the age of 77. Sister of Ann (Steven) Kery and Sue (Peter) Stromik. Aunt of Edward (Melissa) Mohlman, Ryan (Shanna) Stromik and Jason (Amy) Stromik. Also survived by her great nieces, great nephews and her brother-in-law, Fred Bush as well as other loving family and friends. Joy was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Vernice (nee: Mack) Burch and her sister Kay Bush. She was retired from General Motors. A memorial gathering will be on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 10 am until the time o the Memorial Service at 12 pm both at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Memorial contributions to honor Joy’s life may be made to the American Diabetes Association. To those attending visitation and/or services for a loved one, in keeping with State of Michigan Executive Orders 2020-110 and 2020-147 , masks and social distancing along with limitations on number of person(s) in the chapel must be followed and will be enforced.
