Joseph Richard Velthuysen

Joseph Richard Velthuysen, age 57, loving father, son, brother, and uncle, passed away unexpectedly Thursday the 22nd, 2024. Despite his inner battles, Joe remained optimistic and believed in his heart he would get a second chance with his loved ones, as family was the one thing that he could count on no matter what. During his recent moments here with us he was able to enjoy a life of leisure, spending his days next to the water at his campsite, fishing, grilling, evenings watching the sunset along a camp fire, most importantly reconciling with his two daughters and proudly meeting his first grand child. He will be remembered by his down to earth goofy personality, contagious laugh, and heart of gold.
