Joseph Rene Martell, born in Embrun, Ontario Canada and resident of River Rouge, Michigan, passed at the age of 91, September 13, 2019. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Mary Martell (Doulos), his sister Anna, mother Albina and father Zepherine. Joseph has two daughters Michele (Kevin) Theisen and Denise (Jake) Bosh. Grandchildren included Allison (Jim) VanDeraa, Courtney, Shane and Kyle Theisen as well as Rebekah, Rachel, the late Amanda and Bethany Bosh. Great grandson Jackson VanDeraa. Joseph deeply loved his family; he loved his life throughout the ups and downs. His grandchildren played major roles in his life and invested their time and effort into him, their love and devotion had a huge impact on him. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace dad, we will see you again in Christ Jesus.
