Joseph John Connors

Joseph John Connors, age 96 of Allen Park MI, passed in the early morning Friday April 6th. Viewing will be Sunday April 8th from 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mass will be said at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 9000 Laurence Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101 on Monday April 9th at 10:00 am . He will be laid to rest at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors, following mass. Born June 8th, 1921, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of William and Gertrude (Sommer) Connors. Joseph served in the U.S. Army during WWII in several campaigns as well as received several distinguished citations. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Anthony, John and Francis and wife Margaret. He is survived by his sons, Joseph and Michael, and three generations of grandchildren. He was a devout Catholic who had a very warm and generous heart, who believed in charity and compassion. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.
