Joseph Dean Poupard, 'Dino'

Born in Monroe, Dean was the son of Dennis & Yvonne (Langevin) Poupard. He married Tera Poupard September 6, 1993. Dean was an extremely talented Carpenter working through the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters, Local 687. Dean was known for possessing a zest for life that was driven by the birth of his first grandson Kaiden James Poupard and his dog Sissy. Some of his favorite times were spent on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and fishing. He also had a great flair for Real Estate, buying, fixing and renting several properties with his wife Tera, both here in Michigan as well as in Florida. Dean enjoyed family holidays, playing poker, NASCAR and MIS Races as well as football. Dean leaves to cherish his memory Tera, his wife of the past 19 years; two sons: Jerry Lynn Poupard of Monroe and Joshua Dean Romkey of Raleigh, North Carolina; a grandson Kaiden James Poupard; his mother Yvonne Obanion of Indiana; brothers: Michael (Debby) Poupard of Florida and John Poupard of Temperance; two close cousins: Jeff Bagley and Mark Bagley, both of Monroe; aunt and uncle Carol & Albert Bagley of Monroe; brother-in-law Todd (Kourtney) Poupard of Monroe; mother-in-law Nancy Poupard of Monroe and sister-in-law Tamala (Bryan) Poupard-Hoffman of Florida. He is also survived by five half-sisters: Michelle, Sherry, Tonya, Jamie and Tammy. Dean was always surrounded and loved by many, many nieces and nephews. Sadly Dean was preceded in death by his father "Butch", grandparents Rita & Cletus Poupard and father-in-law James A. Poupard.
