Joseph 'Butch' Krzyston

Joseph "Butch" Krzyston, age 72 of Monroe, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at his home. Joseph was born August 3, 1945 in Monroe, Michigan to Joseph Anthony and Ann Marie (Vadun) Krzyston. He worked as an assembler at the Ford Plant in Monroe for 36 years, retiring in 2001. Joseph was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling, was a member of the UAW Hall #723 and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his children Jason (Chelsey) Krzyston of Monroe, Nicholas Krzyston of Monroe, Emily (Derek Colpaert) Krzyston of Monroe and Stacy Krzyston of Melbourne, FL; and his grandchildren Brooklyn Colpaert, Briella Colpaert and Jack Krzyston. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Ann Krzyston and his brother Thomas Krzyston. Friends may call Tuesday from 1-8pm at The Allore Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 203 E. Elm Ave. Funeral service will take place Wednesday at 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joe's Food Closet.
