Black, Jordan J. Age 30, November 28, 2013 of Canton. Cherished son of Gregory and Sharon. Loving brother to Stephanie. Dearest grandson of Anna and the late John Sorovetz and Mary Louise and the late James Black. Jordan is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving family and friends. His passion was hockey. A memorial contribution fund is being arranged by the family and information will be added when available. Jordan had a love for life, family, and friends and of course hockey. He was always greeting you with a smile and a hug. He was born with a pair of hockey skates and ice was his favorite form of water. He was proud of his strong Hungarian heritage so much so that he got a tattoo of the Hungarian flag but to make it ok with grandma, it included a cross. Where there was a gathering, Jordan was there to lend a hand, make you laugh or teach you to play can jam. His laugh was contagious. His life WAS family. He loved being around family. Whether it was toasting to someone or getting on the floor to play with his young cousins, he was happy being surrounded by the ones that loved him the most. His life WAS friends. Where there was a party Jordan was present. He held his friends in the utmost regard. His friends were everything to Jordan. His life WAS hockey. He played juniors, college and minor league and no matter where he went, family was there to cheer him. He made hockey his career by training young up and coming skaters from Alaska to Zimbabwe. If there was a rink, Jordan was there. Jordan will be remembered for his loving ways, his parents taught him well and his family meant the world him and him to us. He will be missed by all and those whose lives he touched are better for having known him. The poor are richer for knowing him. The lonely are comforted by his presence. Those who were distraught were comforted by his grace. An angel walks amongst us.
