John R. Beauchamp

Click on the tribute wall above to view John's video tribute John was born on February 20, 1939 in Chicago. Illinois and died on August 15, 2020 at his home on Grosse Ile at the age of 81. Beloved husband of 45 years to Rosalind (nee: Biancucci). Loving father of Connie (Patrick) Peruchietti and Kelly Wood. Proud grandpa of Erin Peruchietti, Ashley Peruchietti, Lauren Wood and Logan Wood. Dearest brother of Kathy Shields. Also survived by his nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents John J. and Elizabeth K. Beauchamp. John graduated from Fenger High School in Chicago, Illinois and served his Country in the United States Army; he was retired from Towers Watson. John’s family was his love in life, he enjoyed playing golf and loved boating. Visitation is on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 3 pm to 5 pm at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Visitation will also be on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 21599 Parke Lane, Grosse Ile (Please keep in mind that the free bridge is closed) until the time of the Funeral Liturgy which will begin at 10:30 am. Memorial contributions to honor John’s life may be made to Boys Town. To those attending visitation and/or services for a loved one, in keeping with State of Michigan Executive Orders 2020-110 and 2020-147 , masks and social distancing along with limitations on number of person(s) in the chapel must be followed and will be enforced.
