John Petryk

Petryk, John, age 65 of Southgate. Loving husband of 45 years to Olga Petryk. Beloved father of Andrea (Tim) Shrewsburg and the late Taras Petryk. Dearest Dido of Megan and Katelyn. Loving brother of Nina (Steve) Sucharski, Stefan Petryk, Henry Petryk, and the late Michael Petryk. He also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, and family members from the Petryk, Tkacz, and Ciko families. His smile, his zest for life, and his ability to make people laugh will be forever missed. Vichnaya Pamyat. A visitation in honor of John will be held Sunday September 10, 2017 from 1:00pm until 8:00pm with a Panachyda (Prayer Service) at 6:00pm at the Allen Park Chapel Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day September 11, 2017 at St. Johns Ukrainian Catholic Church. Instate 9:30am with mass beginning at 10:00am. Procession to St. Hedwigs Cemetery to follow.
