Click on the tribute wall above to view Jack’s video tribute. John “Jack” Siffer, age 84 of Monroe, passed away peacefully June 7, 2021 with family by his side. Jack was born July 29, 1936 in Monroe to the late John and Bernadine Siffer. After high school, Jack proudly served his country in the United States Army. Upon completion of his service, Jack was a dedicated employee of Leake Stamping, Sheller Globe, and Premier Industries, retiring in 2001. Loving husband of the late Dorothy and loving husband of Georgia. Dear father of Anthony, Martin (Laura), and the late Lisa Steffy. Proud grandfather of Justin (Katherine) Steffy, Chris (Nicole) Steffy, Ashley (Derek) Welker, Derek Hoskins, Natalie (Steve) Bellman, Jarrod Short, Jaccob Short, Garrett Siffer, and Gabrielle Siffer. Great grandfather of Beau, Blakely, Aubry, Oliver, and Mason. Also survived by sisters Candace (the late Jerry) Clark, Robin (John) Carrabino, Russette Schrader, son in law Larry Steffy, and Georgia’s children John (Jane) Imo, Bill (Marcy) Moore, and her numerous grandchildren. In addition to his parents and daughter, Jack was preceded in death by a sister Joann (Ron) Queen. Visitation will take place Thursday June 10, 2021 from 2:00pm-8:00pm, Funeral Service Friday June 11, 2021 12:00pm, at the Allore Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 203 E. Elm, Monroe, MI 48162. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oaks of Righteousness Christian Ministries, 1018 E 2nd , Monroe, MI 48161.
