John is survived by his 5 children; Sharon (the late Jeff) DesJarlais, Stephen (Mary) Angeliu, Thomas (Judy Mayfield) Angeliu, Jeffrey (Suzette) Angeliu and Julie (Mel) Terechenok, 15 grandchildren; Nicholas, Amanda, Timothy, Kevin, Brian, Kenneth, Katelyn, Bethany, Christina, Griffin, Ryan, Parker, Brady, Owen and Jacob. John was a metallurgical engineer at Chrysler for over 40 years. He was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of St. Timothy Catholic Church in Trenton, Michigan. He was a dedicated family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. John had many lifelong friendships with his Theta Tau fraternity brothers. John enjoyed various activities throughout the years including fishing, woodworking, camping, skiing, and dirt-bike riding. John and Roberta enjoyed travels around the world. He volunteered his time in many charitable activities. As a scoutmaster for over 10 years, John mentored many scouts through the rank of Eagle Scout. His home in Manistee provided him with a great source of enjoyment. Memorial contributions in honor of John may be made to the Right to Life of Michigan organization.
