John Gabor, who many know as Gabe, was born July 17th, 1971. He was raised in his childhood home in Allen Park, with his 4 siblings, mother, and father.
With his presence, John brought peace. He never failed to fill the room with warmth and love. He shared a love of hunting, building and fixing with his brothers and best friends. We will always remember his willingness to help others get things done right, his ability to hold a conversation for hours, and the way his giggle could be heard for miles.
John Gabor joined his father (John Gabor), sister (Tina Gabor), and granddaughter (Kira Celsi), in heaven on November 22,2022.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his fiancé Salena Oliver, his kids, John Gabor and Ellianna Gabor, his step kids, Arianna Oliver, Ethan Venier, Joe Celsi, Sarah Celsi, Micheal Celsi. His grandkids, Grace Celsi, John Celsi, Clare Celsi, Skylar Celsi, and Leah Celsi. His mother, Rosemarie Gabor. His siblings, Dan Gabor, Jackie Cross, and Tricia Gabor. His nieces Danielle Auge, Hailey Gabor, and Savanna Gabor. His nephews Sheldon Sprossig, Michael Sprossig, Jacob Cross and Dennis Cross. His mother-in-law, Candice Oliver. His best friends, Terry Webster, Troy Holloway, Al Wilkinson and many more.
“The Footprints of God – In deepest sleep one night I dreamed that on the beach I walked. God was by my side each step and quietly we talked. Then on the sky my life was flashed; the visions all serene. Two sets of footprints in the sand were there in every scene. But then I noticed in some scenes of suffering, pain, and strife… Just a single set of footprints at the worst times of my life. ‘God…you said you’d stay by me in good times and in bad… When then did you leave me each time my life was sad?’ ‘My precious child,’ God answered. ‘When your life had pain, I knew, the single set of footprints were the times I carried you.’
Memorial contributions can be made directly to the family.
