John David Arko

John David was born on December 25, 1959 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan and died at his home on July 21, 2016 at the age of 56. Beloved dad of Shaun (Laura) Durham and John Arko. Proud grandpa of Jayce. Cherished son of Jean Holland and the late John Ronald Arko. Dearest brother of Patrick (Susan), Kevin, Amy, Stephanie, Kyle, Lynn (Paul) and Russ. Also survived by his nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. John was a veteran of The United States Marine Corp. having served as an airborne ranger from 1977-1981. Visitation is on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 starting at 3 pm and there will be a service at 5 pm with visitation continuing until 8 pm. The visitation and service are all on the same day at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Memorial contributions to honor John David's life may be made to the family and made payable to John James Arko to be donated to the veterans residence where John David resided.
