Joette R. Couture

Joette R. Couture of Brownstown was born on September 8, 1958 in Wyandotte, MI and died on January 9, 2016 at Beaumont Hospital-Trenton at the age of 57. Beloved wife of the late Kevin Pancoast and the late Alan Couture. Cherished mother of Todd Pancoast and Samantha Pancoast. Loving daughter of Anna and the late Ross Spangler. Dearest sister of Jerry (Debbie) Michalak, Judy (the late Terry) Ward, Jean (Henry) Mallia and Janay (Robert) Buzzie. Also survived by her nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. She will be missed by her dog Sasha. Joette was a graduate of Lincoln Park High School and was employed for over 25 years as an executive housekeeper for Southshore Hospital, now know as Beaumont Hospital-Trenton. She was a member of the Spirit of Truth Church and a member of the Girl Scouts, Troop 3157. As a hobby, she was a skilled jewelry maker. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 2 pm until the time of her Celebration of Life service which will begin at 5 pm, all at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd.
