Joel J. Hamm

Born in Red Bay, Alabama, Joel was the son of Walter & Lillie (Harris) Ham. He married Norma Brinkman on March 28, 1962. Sadly she preceded him in death February 26, 1992. An animal lover, Joel especially loved horses and the Rodeo. He also enjoyed fishing. Joel leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Lisa (Matt) Fields of Carleton; grandchildren: Malani Arnold of Trenton, Emily Fields of Carleton and Ashley Fields of Temperance; as well as a sister Pearl Lambert of Taylor. In addition to his parents and wife, Joel was preceded in death by three brothers: Hollis Hamm, Arlie Hamm, Johnnie Hamm and two sisters Lucille Strieb and Vernece Hamm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Monroe County Humane Society or Henry Ford Hospice.
