Joanie Morgan, age 76 of Flat Rock, MI was born October 29, 1948 and passed away December 23, 2024 surrounded by family. Loving bride of Craig C. Morgan for 42 wonderful years. Loving mother of James P. Valentine, Jodi (Stephen) Bogue and Michelle (Dave) Olson. Proud grandma of Paige (Iain) McCormick, Ciara (Jon) Dunlap, Owen Herring, Hunter (Vince) Olson, Cameron Bogue and great grandma to Arrow, Paxton, Adrianna and Riverlynn. Dearest sister of Nora (Ted) Cousino, Joseph (Sarah) Emery, Patrick (Ciena) Emery, the late Norman (Judy) Emery, the late Fran (Walt) Kostelnick and the late Donald Emery. She is preceded in death by her parents Norman and Roma (Miller) Emery. Joanie was passionate about traveling, spending time at the cabin upnorth known as the "Morgan's Manor", taking walks everyday, baking and her afternoon soap operas. Memorial contributions in honor of Joanie may be made directly to the Salvation Army.
