Joan Patricia Sandifer

Born in Detroit, Joan was the daughter of Leo and Leona (Heide) Hyland. She married the love of her life, Wayne Sandifer, sadly he preceded her in death March 12, 1985. A dedicated homemaker, Joan also worked customer service at Wesburn Golf Course. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Rockwood. Joan enjoyed going to the casino, cooking, going up north to Ludington, bowling and making trips to Florida, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family.

Joan leaves to cherish her memory her children: Sherry (Todd) Ritton and Carolyn (Michael Brewer) Ball; as well as 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Wayne William Sandifer and a brother Leo Hyland.
