Joan Marie Linenfelser

Joan Marie (Phee) Linenfelser, age 86, of Trenton, passed away on June 2, 2023. She was born in Wyandotte on June 18, 1936 to the late Carl and Eileen Phee. Joan is survived by her children, Norbert (Toni) Linenfelser II, Susan (Thomas) Nonnenmacher, Denise (David) Hakanson, Roger (Barbara) Linenfelser, Sally (Dan Hyman) Seymour, Paul Linenfelser and daughter-in-law Janene Linenfelser. Loving grandma to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Frank (Carol) Phee, Mike (Lisa) Phee, Mary (Joe) Orczyk, Jim (Susan) Phee. Joan is preceded in death by her husband Norbert Daniel Linenfelser of 66 years, and her beloved son Eric Linenfelser, brother Carl Phee and sister Judith Mills.

Joan was a devoted mother to her 7 children. She was a loving catholic woman, who raised her family in the faith. Joan and Norb spent many years up north near the Ludington area at the Timber Surf campground, where they made many friends and memories. She often volunteered at many church functions. After raising her own children, Joan worked as a nanny for two other families. Joan was a talented artist, loved to garden, read, make scrapbooks and loved animals. She was always there for her family, friends and neighbors. She passed peacefully surrounded by her children and family, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes on Friday, June 9, 2023, from 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm, with a rosary at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Our Lady of the Woods, 21892 Gudith Rd, Woodhaven, Michigan. She will lie instate at 10:00 am with a 10:30 am Mass of the Resurrection to follow. After the mass we will be driving in procession for the burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 900 Ford Ave, Wyandotte, MI 48192.
