Joan Marie Kelly

Joan Marie Kelly, 84 of Monroe, formerly of Ecorse, MI passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. Born November 4, 1928 in Wyandotte, Joan was the daughter of Clement and Susan (Rafter) Snyder. She married Lawrence J. Kelly July 31, 1948 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Wyandotte. Sadly he preceded her in death June 3, 1987. A graduate of St. Pat's High School in Wyandotte. A dedicated homemaker, Joan was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Monroe and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Ecorse. Joan enjoyed playing bingo but most of all cherished time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Joan leaves to cherish her memory her children: Kevin Kelly (Linda Ferguson) of Monroe and Deborah (Gerald) Guyot of Brownstown Twp; grandchildren: David, John, Angela (Russ), Michelle, Brian (Candice), Bradley, and Brittany; great grandchildren: Annalese, Kelly, Harmony, Emily, Kaitlyn, Allysa and Connor; daughter-in-law: Diane Kelly of Taylor; nephew: Keith (Sherry) Manard of Southgate; and nephew-in-law: John Bedo of Waterford. Joan was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, son Glenn Joseph Kelly, sister Corinne Manard, brother-in-law Clyde Manard and niece Noreen Bedo. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
