Joan Faye Hunt

Joan Faye Hunt, 83, of Rockwood, peacefully passed away on July 21, 2024.

Born in Wyandotte, Joan was the beloved daughter of Donald and Luella (Chamberlain) Wiseman. She graduated from Flat Rock High School and joyfully married the love of her life, Richard Hunt, on December 10, 1960. After many happy years together, Richard passed away on February 27, 2008. Joan dedicated herself as a Bus Aide for Riverview Schools. At home, she took great pride in taking care of her household and her cherished fur-babies. However, her most treasured times were those spent with her family, especially her grandchildren (and nine great-grandchildren).

Joan is remembered by her children: April (Terry) Hanning, Richard Hunt Jr., and Tamara (Dwayne) Hurd; her grandchildren: Jessica (Ryan) Gliesman, Teri (Jason Reed) Hanning, Ashley (Rob) Collins and Trevor (Tara) Hurd; her siblings: Bob Wiseman, Gary Wiseman, and Carol (Bob) Evanski; and her loyal Yorkipoo, "Pea". She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard, and granddaughter Ashley Collins.
