Joan Ann Slusher

Joan Ann was born on December 9, 1944 in Lincoln Park, Michigan and died on March 23, 2017 at Rivergate Terrace in Riverview at the age of 72; she was of Southgate. Beloved wife of the late Sailor. Loving mom of Tammie Mitchell, Norma Schrader and Tricia Slusher. Proud grandma of the late Brent Mitchell, Ashley Schrader, Kyle Mitchell and Jessica Smith. Cherished sister of Doris (Oliver) Hilliker and Jean (Jack) Eady. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Walter and Edna (nee: Tiedeman) Earley; 4 brothers Arthur, Arnold, Earl and Walter Earley and 2 sisters Willamae Riddle and Ruth Davis. Joan graduated from Lincoln Park High School; she was dedicated to her family and enjoyed crocheting. Visitation is Tuesday from 3 – 8 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). The funeral service is on Wednesday at 10 am at the funeral home. The interment at Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia will be private. Memorial contributions may be made as the donor chooses.
