Jo Ann Aycock

Jo Ann Aycock, age 75 of Grosse Ile, MI passed away peacefully August 2nd, 2022. Born April 30th, 1947 in Dearborn, MI to the late Carl and Adela Peterson. Loving wife of Benjamin F. Aycock. Dear mother of Danica (Carl) McLeod and Leslie (Edward) Holmberg. Proud grandmother of Emma and Connor McLeod. Also survived by her sister Marie Jones, several nieces, and a nephew. Jo Ann was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. A passionate teacher and professor, she taught for many years at Asher School in Southgate, MI and Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will take place on Tuesday August 9th, 2022 from 3:00pm- 9:00pm at the Trenton Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton, MI 48183. The family will receive friends on Wednesday August 10th, 2022 from 9:30am until time of Funeral Mass 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2623 3rd St., Trenton, MI 48183. Memorial contributions in Jo Ann’s name may be made to the American Stroke Association.
