Jim was born on September 22, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on August 22, 2024 at the age of 71; he was of Riverview. Beloved husband of 50 years to Karen (Hamilton). Cherished dad of the late Andrea, Theresa (Richard), the late Donny, Melissa (Steven) and Brian. Proud papa of Kelsie, Meranda (Matt), Hailey, Scotty, Noah, James, Kaylee, Skylar, Wesley, and Zoey and great grandpa of Roderick and Elliana. Dearest brother of the late Ray and to his wife Alice, Gina (Mike), the late Bill and to his wife Barb, Elizabeth (Steve), Kathy (Carl), the late Joey and to his husband Ron, the late Tim, and the late Shawn. Also survived by his nieces, nephews, other loving family, and many friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents Donald and Shirley (Orich) Sexton. Jim attended Trenton High School and he proudly served his Country in the United States Marines. He was retired from Fritz Enterprises where he faithfully served as an Equipment Operator for many years. He loved his family more than anything and enjoyed camping. Visitation is on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 3 pm to 8 pm at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. There will be an honor guard service on Tuesday at 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions to honor his life may be made as the donor chooses.
