Jim Mitchell

Click on tribute wall to view Jim's memorial video. Jim Mitchell, age 59 of Allen Park, passed away peacefully September 13th, 2021. Beloved son of the late Donald and Esther Mitchell. Dear brother of Don (Renee), Brian (Donna), and Karen (Tom) McGraw. Loving uncle of Susan (Matt), Sebrina (Craig), Tom (Jillian), Carrie (Brett), Shannon (Jake), Jennifer, and Emily. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Jim will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity. He was an avid NASCAR fan and outdoorsman. Whether it be hunting, fishing, or enjoying a boat ride, he always found a motive to relish nature. Jim will be greatly missed by all who knew him and will forever be in our hearts. The family will receive friends on Friday September 17th, 2021 from 2:00pm-9:00pm, Funeral Service Saturday September 18th, 2021 10:00am, at the Allen Park Chapel- Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.
