Jewel Alderman

Alderman, Jewel, age 78 of Dearborn Heights. Loving wife of the late Charles Alderman. Loving mother of David (Terrie) Alderman and Lori (Karl) Preuss. Beloved grandmother of Jessica Sisk, Sarah Bills, David Alderman Jr., Adam Alderman, and Dakota Preuss and great grandmother of Gabriella Sisk, and Alex, Mackenzie, and Max Alderman. Jewel leaves behind her sisters Agnes (the late Bill) Snead, Julena (Donald) Clark, and Joyce (Howard) Forsee. She now is joined in heaven with her siblings, the late Thelma Rye, the late Mary (Barney) Wheeler, the late Leroy Rye, and the late Ruth (Tom) Burnaine. Jewel loved poetry, she was devout in her faith, she loved people and helping people, and she enjoyed listening to Bluegrass music with her husband Charles. She loved attending garage sales and yard sales but most importantly, she loved her family who meant everything to her. Visitation will be held for Jewel on Monday, February 20th from 2:00pm until 9:00pm at the Allen Park Chapel Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. A funeral service will be held in her honor Tuesday, February 21st at 11:00am at the funeral home with a procession to Huron Valley Cemetery to follow.
