Jesse Lathan

Born in Monroe, Jesse was the son of James and Ruthie (Littleton) Lathan. A 1987 graduate of Monroe High School, he worked as a laborer at various factories. He was a member of the Spiritual Israel Church Monroe Mission where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. Jesse leaves to cherish his memory, Lorette, his wife of the past 15 years; children: Jessica Lucas of Monroe, Joseph (Lacey) Lucas of Monroe, Cherisse Lathan of Monroe, Jesse Lathan II and his fiancé Christa of Trenton; and Bianca Lathan of Monroe; grandchildren: Aizaeah, Damian, Jose', Sydney, Jaxson, Colton and Ryder; as well as his siblings: Jerry Lathan of Toledo, Janie Lathan of Monroe, Geraldine (Gary) Cochran of Taylor, Betty Rhinehart of Monroe, James (Carrie) Lathan of Redford, Tina (Michael) Oliver of Detroit and Joseph (Pam) Lathan of New York. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Charlene Page and a brother-in-law Kenneth Page. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Jesse may be made to the family.
