Jerry W. Whitehead

Jerry Wayne Whitehead Sr., age 63 of Taylor, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 9, 2024. He was the loving companion to Teresa of 20 years.

Loving father to Christy (Antwon) Hayes, Jerry (Jessica) Whitehead Jr., Alicia (Anthony) Borboa, Aleigha (Zach) Push, Erika Rowe, and Emily (Breytan) Melson. Dearest gumpy to Antwon Jr., Branden, Zachary, Casey, Joseph, Dominic, Zack, Avery, Aubrey, Jordan, Hudson, and Thomas. Beloved great-grandfather to Nakoa Hayes Cherished brother to Marilyn (Ray), late Brenda, late Linda, and late Stevie.

Jerry was an avid hunter and fisherman as he enjoyed the peace and quiet in the forest. He also enjoyed making his own salsa and playing in his garden - garden enthusiasm. Jerry was a big fan of hot rods and loved camping.

He will be deeply missed.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. Allen Park, MI 48180. Funeral service time is pending at the moment and will be updated as soon as it is confirmed. Please check back for updates.
