Jean Clara Burt

Jean Burt, age 83 of Woodhaven. She went home to be with her late husband Adrian and the Lord on October 26, 2017. Loving mother of Michelle (the late Fred) Frazier. Dearest sister of Ruth (Jerry) Miller and Wayne (Margaret) Harmon and the late Kenneth (Pat) Harmon and the late Clyde (Karen) Harmon. Beloved daughter of the late Charles and Alice Harmon. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. Jean taught physical education for over 30 years and won best teacher of the year award. Jean loved to travel with her husband and daughter to their condo in Florida. She always loved cooking. Her yard was her pride and joy and she loved showing her flowers to anyone who came to visit along with entertaining friends in her home. She was loved by very many people and will be greatly missed. A visitation in honor of Jean will be held Tuesday October 31, 2017 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at the Trenton Chapel Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. A funeral service will be held the following day, Wednesday November 1, 2017 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Procession to Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery to follow. Memorial contributions in honor of Jean may be made directly to The Salvation Army.
