Jay Allen Vanwassehnova

In honor of Jay's life and in lieu of flowers the family prefers and appreciates your love and prayers. Jay Allen VanWassehnova, age 45 of South Rockwood, passed away March 20, 2020. Born May 25, 1974 in Monroe. Loving son of Matheau and Janet VanWassehnova. Beloved brother of Jill VanWassehnova. Also survived by niece Lacy Perry, nephews Thomas Test and Alex Test, great niece Mia Gladieux, and other loving family members and friends. Jay was preceded in death by his grandparents Leroy and Anna VanWassehnova, Nelson and Eleanor Liedel, and an uncle Allen VanWassehnova. Jay was a 1992 graduate of Jefferson High School. He then continued his electrical journeyman educational requirements at Monroe County Community College. He was most recently employed at Guardian Glass. Jay enjoyed many sports, fishing and was an exceptional cook. He also had a soft spot for animals. Especially his cat Pepper. A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.
