Jay Abel Tissot

Jay Abel Tissot, longtime resident of Grosse Ile, teacher, coach, mentor, and friend to all, passed away May 8th, 2021 at the age of 93. Dear husband of Donna. Loving father of Gary (Annette) and Mark (Dianne). Proud grandfather of Marissa (Travis) Rodery. Also survived by his sister Bettie Pieringer. Sadly, Jay was preceded in death by his beloved wife Nadine Beth, and parents Abel and Mildred. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Grosse Ile Athletic Boosters -Jay Tissot Scholarship Fund and/or St. James Episcopal Church. Memorial Service is Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. James Episcopal Church in Grosse Ile, Michigan.
