Janice Sturgill

Janice Lee Sturgill, 60, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away unexpectedly in her Allen Park home on September 29, 2024. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 40 years, Daniel L. Sturgill; two children, Daniel (Mary) Sturgill and Stephanie (Mario) Arredondo; and five cherished grandchildren: Evelyn, Derek, Emilee, Wyatt, and Lainey. Janice’s life was centered around her family, and she found immense joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren. Whether it was attending their activities, offering support and love, or simply enjoying their company, she was deeply involved in their lives. Known for her big, bright smile that could light up any room, Janice made everyone around her feel welcomed and loved. A lifelong fan of the Detroit Tigers, Janice could often be found cheering on her favorite team, sharing this passion with family and friends. She was also known for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to those she loved, qualities that will be remembered by all who knew her. Janice will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
