Janice C. Simon

Beloved wife of 74 years to the late Donald Simon. Loving mom of Karen (Paul) Hozian and Cheryl (the late Fred) Drys. Proud grandma of Andrea (Michael) Barry, Melissa (Tom) Sobotka, Brian (Kristin) Hozian, Fred (Shelly) Drys and Kerri (Mark) Baksa and great grandma of 9. Also survived by her nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Archibald and Ida (nee: Pagel) Quandt; three brothers Calvin, Robert and Donald Quandt and two sisters Dorothy (the late Lenos) Wheeler and Virginia Dibble. Janice cherished her family; she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandma and homemaker who made a wonderful home for her family. Janice served on the Altar Guild at Angelica Lutheran Church in Allen Park and was a Pink Lady Volunteer at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn. The service will be private. Memorial contributions to honor Janice’s life may be made as the donor chooses.
