Janet Louise Kromer

Kromer, Janet Lousie. Age 76; of Brownstown; Jan's Spirit followed the Lord to his Heavenly Kingdom on July 27 at her home following an 8 year battle with Breast Cancer. Beloved wife of Chuck for 55 years; loving mother of Amanda (Ralph) Vidusic; Amy (Peter) Haas; dear sister of Kathy (Don) Rasmussen; proud grandmother of Carsten and Cameron Haas and Andrea Vidusic. She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Hilda (Hagerty) Damron and her sister Jean (Damron) Kovacs. Jan was born September 1, 1937 in Trenton. She received her BA from Central Michigan University and a MA from the University of Michigan. She taught Science, English, and was a Counselor at the JH and HS level in Lincoln Park, Southgate, and retired after 30 years in education from Riverview Schools. Jan enjoyed Bridge, Golf, Crafts, Shopping, Family Gatherings, Church, and Traveled extensively throughout the world as well as the entire 50 States. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 23 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 2441 Nichols Dr., Trenton, MI. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church Memorial Fund.
