Janet Ann Raymo, age 80 of Monroe, passed away January 26, 2022 in her home. Born May 18, 1941 in River Rouge, Janet was the daughter of Charles and Loretta (Hughes) Lauzon. A graduate of Trenton High School, she married the love of her life, Robert Raymo in 1964. Sadly he preceded her in death July 26, 2000. Janet worked for over 20 years as a crossing guard here in Monroe. She then worked in the Deli department at Food Town. Janet was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards, collecting handbags and to those close to her was known to be somewhat of a “professional shopper”. Janet leaves to cherish her memory her children: Robert Raymo, Kevin (Keri) Raymo and Brett (Jamie) Raymo; grandchildren: Jordyn, Kaitlyn, Logan, Shannon, Whitney, Brianna and Travis; as well as two siblings: Betty Wild and Larry (Marie) Lauzon. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Charles Lauzon, Norman Lauzon, Eddie Lauzon and Freddie Lauzon.
