Jane Rose O'Hara

Born in Ecorse, Jane was the daughter of Charles and Annabelle (Craig) Farmer. A graduate of River Rouge High School, Jane married the love of her life, Thomas J. O’Hara, on June 28, 1945. Sadly he preceded her in death August 10, 1999. A dedicated homemaker, Jane also had worked as a Telemarketer for TruGreen ChemLawn. She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in New Boston and a past member of St. Timothy Catholic Church where she enjoyed serving on the Altar Society, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family. Jane leaves to cherish her memory her children: Thomas (Sandy) O’Hara Jr. Kathleen Whitman and Becky (Scott) Allsbrook; as well as 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Colleen Modzelewski and two brothers: Charles Lester Farmer and James Farmer. Memorial contributions in honor of Jane may be made to St. Stephen Catholic Church.
