Jamey Lee Navarre, April 22, 1999-March 21, 2017. Jamey Lee Navarre, age 17 of Monroe, passed away on Tuesday March 21st 2017. He was the son of Jamey Lee Navarre Sr. and Julie Scott Navarre. He was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Upon the death of his father, Jamey was adopted on October 19 of 2004 by Gary and Terry Navarre. Jamey attended Jefferson Schools and was Baptized, Confirmed and received his First Communion at St. Mary's Church in Monroe. Jamey was a natural Musician, especially on the drums. He could also play Guitar, the Saxophone and Piano. But Jamey's true love was anything with wheels and a motor. He was born to ride and it was his release and passion in life. He loved to ride anything from mini bikes to dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, and street bikes. He loved to pull a "Wheelie" on anything and was extremely good at it. It was his trademark by far. Jamey just had a "Need for Speed" as they say. Jamey brought smiles and laughter whenever he entered the room. Always the center of attention, you never knew what little trick he was going to pull on someone. He was blessed in life with so many friends that truly loved him. Jamey is survived by two half-sisters in Iron Mountain: Deandra and Whitney; as well as his maternal grandparents Sally and Pat Scott. Jamey leaves in Monroe his parents Gary and Terry Navarre; uncles Wayne and Dean Navarre; and aunt Robin Meyer of California; and his extremely close cousins Karen Navarre and Kacy (Navarre) Christopher. In accordance with the family's wishes, no services are planned. Cremation arrangements are being handled under the direction of the Allore Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. Inurnment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe. Prayers for Jamey are very important to the family and will be welcomed.
