James Timothy Black

James Timothy Black, age 71 of Grosse Ile, passed away on September 11, 2024 surrounded by his family.

He was the beloved husband to his wife, Barbara, of 18 years. Loving father to Aaron (Leeanne), Lisa (David), and Danny (Genette). Cherished papa to Gaaron, Grayson, and Ellie. Devoted brother to Greg (Sharon). Beloved uncle to Stephanie and late Jordan.

Visitation will take place on Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd. Trenton, MI 48183, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Cyprian Catholic Church in Riverview, MI. He will lie in state at 10:00 am. Mass will start at 10:30 am. There will be a procession to Grosse Ile Memorial Cemetery.
