James "Ron" Breitner age 77 of Gibraltar was born on August 21, 1938 in Monroe, Michigan to Joseph and Ethel Breitner and he died on December 7, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He married Judith (nee: Partlow) on June 28, 1958 at the South Rockwood United Methodist Church and together they celebrated 57 years of marriage. Beloved husband of Judy. Loving father of Ronald (Laura) Breitner of St. Clair Shores, Michael Breitner of Gibraltar and Susan (Jason) Frisch of Plymouth. Proud grandpa of Joseph and Sarah Breitner and Anna and Adam Frisch. Dearest brother of Jean Donahue of Ohio and Glen (Millie) Breitner of Carleton. Also survived by many loving family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Marjorie McMullen and Betty Grant as well as one brother Robert Breitner. Ron graduated in 1956 from Airport High School where he was involved with many of the athletic teams; he retired as a cost analyst from Ford Motor Company and when he was able he loved to go hunting and fishing. A Memorial Service celebrating Ron's life will be at 11am Saturday from Rockwood First Congregational Church, 22600 Mathers St. Memorial contributions to honor his memory may be made to the Rockwood First Congregational Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
