James Lewis Foe

James Lewis Foe, age 81 of Gibraltar, passed away Wednesday, February 22,2023.

Born July 11, 1941 in Sturgis, Kentucky, James was the son of Harry and Magdelene (Howell) Foe. He faithfully served our country in the United States Army serving overseas during the Korean War. James married the love of his life, Dorothy Hobdy, on May 1, 1964.

James retired from the Chrysler Trenton Engine Plant with over 30 years of service as a Cutter Grind Supervisor. He was a Life Member of the VFW Post 14000, the American Legion, Free and Accepted Masons and Shriners International. James enjoyed fishing, hunting and cooking, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.

James leaves to cherish his memory, Dorothy, his wife of the past 58 years; children: Gail (Heather Hebert) Foe and James (Catherine) Farkas-Foe; three grandchildren: Jordan, Aidan and Elizabeth; as well as a sister Phyllis (Davis) Shoulders. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and eleven siblings.
