James K. Wielkerwicz

James Kenneth Wielkerwicz was born on October 1, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan and died on June 29, 2020 at Beaumont Hospital Dearborn at the age of 59; he was born and raised in Detroit and was currently of Allen Park, Michigan. Beloved father of Jennifer, Christie, Hollie and James. Proud grandpa of Veronica, Olivia, Ava, Cameron, Kyrstin, Joseph, James, Arabella and Joshua. Cherished son of James and Dorothy (nee: Sewesky) Wielkerwicz. Dearest brother of Sharon and Thomas. Also survived by his former spouse Andrea and many other loving family and friends. He will be missed by his dog Heidi. James was a graduate of Cody High School in Detroit, MI and was a Journeyman Grinder for a machine shop. His family, especially his grandchildren, was his love in life and he also loved fishing. Visitation is on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 1 pm until the time of the service on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 4 pm, both at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd (Corner of Goddard). Memorial contributions to honor James’ life may be made as the donor chooses.
