James "Jim" M. Daniels

Click on tribute wall above to view James' memorial video. James M. Daniels “Jim” passed away suddenly July 18, 2020. Age 68; of Southgate. Loving husband of Judie Daniels for 38 years. Beloved dad of Kristy (David) Friss. Proud Guckie to Graham, Nora, and Hannah. Cherished brother of Beverly (the late Marvin) Morgan, Belinda (Randy) Cather, Jody (Danny) Wyatt, and Rheba Daniels. Dear son in law of Donalda and the late Zack Parr. Also a proud God father to Jennifer Payne. Preceded in death by his parents Reverend James E. Daniels and Barbara Daniels. Jim is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed. Jim was a kind and giving man; always generous with his time and eager to help out friends and family. He will be remembered as an amazing, loving, very involved father and ‘Guckie’; he had a special relationship with his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He also had a love for music and spent time in his younger years participating with his sisters in a gospel group singing, as well as being a part of a band when he was older. Also notable to mention for Jim and his involvements; he was a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, formerly a member of the Lincoln Park Masonic Lodge 569, and volunteered as a producer for TV-34 local cable.
