James Harold Van Brunt

Born November 8, 1939 in Omak, Washington, James was the son of Bill and Margaret Van Brunt. He married the love of his life, Carol Sheppard, October 28, 1965. James was a Mathematics Teacher for District #1 in Yuma until his retirement. In his younger years James had taken singing lessons and loved to sing. More recently he enjoyed working on his computer and strategy games, but most important in his life was loving and caring for his family. James leaves to cherish his memory, Carol, his wife of the past 49 years; two sons: Jason (Robyn) VanBrunt and Samuel Van Brunt; three grandchildren: Randi VanBrunt, Kara VanBrunt; and Pierson Van Brunt; as well as his sister Pennie Hammer.
