James E. Saunders

Saunders, James E. of Trenton, MI passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of 65 years to Sylvia Saunders. Loving dad of Leisa (Jim) Cooper, Craig (Dana) Saunders, and Mark (Jeannie) Saunders. Cherished grandpa and papa of Michael (Taylor) Stull, Elisabeth Cooper, Collin (Nicole) Saunders, and Kelsey Saunders. Dear great-grandpa of Ryleigh and Jack. Caring brother of Judy (Dale) Bieganski, Zita (the late Dean) Shipman, and Christine (Jim) McHugh. James was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Pauline Saunders and his siblings Thomas Saunders and Anita Thibault. He will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends. Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Road. Funeral service will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 at Christ the King Lutheran Church located at 15600 Trenton Road, Southgate, MI 48195.
