James C. Sheridan

James C. Sheridan, 78, passed away peacefully at the Regency Healthcare Centre on March 29, 2014. Born in Detroit on May 25, 1935, he was raised by his grandparents, the late John and Mary Sheridan. In 1953, he graduated from Southwestern High School, where he lettered in baseball and basketball. He continued playing baseball on local teams through the 1960's. In later years, he was an avid bowler. While James loved all sports, his passion was University of Michigan football and basketball. If he wasn't watching or playing sports, James would have had you laughing as a result of his incredible sense of humor. James was the loving father of Colleen (Eric) Fleetham and dearest Papa of Elizabeth Grace and Matthew Charles. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends. There will be no services. Interment Glen Eden Memorial Park. The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.
