Jacqueline Rose Davidson

Davidson, Jacqueline Rose, age 81 of Southgate, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. Born in Detroit on June 23, 1934, Jacqueline was the daughter of Harper and Nora Brown (Renaud). She married the love of her life, James Davidson on September 9, 1954. They shared 60 years of marriage together before he preceded her in death in February of 2015. Jacqueline leaves to cherish her memory her five children: Sandra (James) Bagger, Jeffery (Deborah) Davidson, Julie (Patrick) Brennan, Laurie Bell and Douglas (Sandra) Davidson, as well as 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and her brother Claude K. Brown. In addition to her husband, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her both of her parents. Jacqueline was an avid reader and also loved cross word puzzles and playing on the computer. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a full-time teller for Security Bank and Trust, now PNC bank, for over 20 years. Jacqueline will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 9 pm at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. Memorial contributions in honor of Jacqueline may be made to Arbor Hospice.
